About this Video

About the Video: This is a screen-capture of a Dharma class given on a Saturday morning at the Sydney Buddhist Centre.
This class explores a way of approaching the traditional teaching of the Four Noble Truths and the teaching of the Middle Way as reflections rather than dogmatic assertions about the nature of reality. It addresses core texts from the Pali Canon and makes attempts to challenge some misrepresentations of these teachings that one finds online and in school textbooks.
The presentation draws on the work of Urgyen Sangharakshita as well as Ajahn Sumedho, and Stephen Bachelor. Some of the ideas expressed are those of the presenter.
